Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-03

The promise

14-day refund if the artifact doesn't apply cleanly on a fresh project. We ship every product with a bootstrap.sh check subcommand precisely because the apply has to work the first time. If it doesn't, you get your money back.

What counts

You're eligible for a refund if any of the following are true within 14 days of purchase:

  • The bundled installer (bootstrap.sh or equivalent) errors before completing on a supported, fresh environment.
  • The first terraform apply fails on a fresh GCP project linked to a billing account, with the prerequisites listed on the product page met.
  • The delivered Artifact is materially different from what the product page describes.
  • You never received the delivery email and we couldn't resolve it within two business days of you flagging it.

What doesn't

The 14-day refund doesn't cover situations where the Artifact applied cleanly and you got the live URL it promised:

  • You decided you don't want it anymore.
  • You hit a runtime issue caused by application code you wrote on top of the stack.
  • You are using an unsupported cloud region, account type, or organization-policy configuration that the product page didn't promise to handle.
  • You modified the Terraform after a successful first apply and the modification broke something.
  • You hit a third-party API rate limit or quota (e.g. GCP's 24-hour project-link cap) — we document the relevant ones in the troubleshooting section, but they aren't our service to refund.
  • The 14-day window has passed.

If you're uncertain whether your situation qualifies, email us anyway — we'd rather have a friendly conversation than gatekeep over a flag.

How to request

Email [email protected] from the address you used to buy, with:

  • Your Lemon Squeezy order ID (in the delivery email).
  • A brief description of what failed — the error message, the apply step that errored, or a screenshot is ideal.
  • Optionally, the output of ./bootstrap.sh check if it surfaced anything specific.

How it's processed

We respond within two business days. If your case qualifies, we issue the refund through Lemon Squeezy — the same card or payment method you used at checkout, typically within 5-10 business days depending on your bank. Lemon Squeezy reverses the original tax collection automatically as part of the refund.

Once a refund is issued, your license terminates and you must delete your local copy of the Artifact. We don't require a receipt of the deletion; we trust you.

Beyond the 14 days

After 14 days, we don't process refunds — but we still respond to email. If something is broken about the product itself (a bug, a stale dependency, a security regression), we want to know and we ship updates. If you have a situation that doesn't fit the policy but feels reasonable, write to us; we'll consider it on its merits.
