Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-03

These Terms govern your use of the website at quantumdevlabs.dev (the "Site") and the digital products sold through it (each, an "Artifact") by QuantumDev Labs ("the Studio," "we," "us"). By using the Site or purchasing an Artifact, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Site or buy.

1. The Studio

QuantumDev Labs is a one-person studio that publishes commercially licensed Terraform modules, GCP playbooks, and DevOps artifacts as ZIP files. There is no SaaS, no hosted service, no account to register. You buy a file, you run it on your own infrastructure.

2. What you're buying

When you purchase an Artifact, you receive a one-time delivery — typically a ZIP file containing source code, documentation, and supporting scripts — emailed after a successful payment. You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable commercial license to use the Artifact as described in Section 6.

Each Artifact's product page describes its scope, version, and what's in the box. We do our best to keep those descriptions accurate, but the descriptions are marketing material — not contractual specifications. If the delivered file doesn't match the description in a material way, that's grounds for a refund (see Section 5).

3. Payment and tax

Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com) acting as the Merchant of Record. That means Lemon Squeezy — not the Studio — is the seller of record for tax purposes. They collect and remit any applicable EU VAT, US sales tax, GST, and other regional taxes, and they handle 1099-K reporting where required. Their Terms and Privacy Policy apply to the payment portion of your purchase. Prices on the Site are exclusive of any tax that Lemon Squeezy adds at checkout.

4. Delivery

Artifacts are delivered by email immediately after Lemon Squeezy confirms a successful payment. If you don't see the email within an hour, check spam, then email [email protected] with your order ID. We re-deliver manually within two business days at no extra cost.

5. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund if the Artifact does not apply cleanly on a fresh, supported environment as described on its product page. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order ID and a brief description of what failed (an error message, the apply step that failed, or a screenshot is ideal). We respond within two business days and process eligible refunds via Lemon Squeezy.

Refunds are not granted for: a successful apply you decided you didn't want; refusal to read the documentation; incompatibility with an unsupported region, runtime, or third-party service that the product page didn't promise; or after the 14-day window has passed. We do not redistribute or resell refunded Artifacts; once a refund is issued, your license is revoked and you must delete your local copy.

6. License

The license that ships with each Artifact is summarised below. The full license text is included in the Artifact ZIP and controls in case of conflict.

  • Single purchaser. The license is granted to one purchasing entity (an individual or a company). You may not transfer or resell the Artifact.
  • Unlimited internal use. The purchasing entity may use the Artifact across an unlimited number of its own projects, including production projects, derivative works, and forks kept private to the entity.
  • No redistribution. You may not publish, share, sublicense, or sell the Artifact (or substantially derived works) to third parties. You may share short snippets in technical writing, code reviews, or community discussion under fair-use principles.
  • No warranty. The Artifact is licensed as-is. See Section 8.

7. Acceptable use of the Site

The Site is a static storefront with a checkout link. There is no user-generated content, no account system, no comment section. Don't scrape it abusively, don't attempt to bypass payment, don't probe it for vulnerabilities without coordination — all standard. If you find a real security issue, email [email protected]; we'll respond.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Artifacts are sold as-is and as-available, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Artifact will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. You are responsible for evaluating whether an Artifact fits your situation and for any consequences of running it on your infrastructure (including cloud bills, security posture, or production incidents).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Studio's aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or any Artifact is limited to the amount you paid for the Artifact in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption — even if we've been advised of the possibility.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, the limitations apply only to the extent permitted.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Studio harmless from any third-party claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of an Artifact in violation of these Terms or the bundled license, or from your operation of infrastructure built on top of an Artifact.

10. Termination

You may stop using an Artifact at any time. Your license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms or the bundled license. We may discontinue selling any specific Artifact at any time; that doesn't affect existing licenses.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. For material changes, the prior version remains accessible by request. Continued use of the Site or an Artifact after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Israel, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your jurisdiction grant you the right to file in your local courts.
